IADI Virtual Workshop - One Size Does Not Fit All: Tailoring Failure Resolution Frameworks for all Banks

The Financial Stability Institute (FSI) of the Bank of International Settlements (BIS) and the International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI) are pleased to invite your organisation to participate in the FSI-IADI virtual meeting on tailoring failure resolution frameworks for all banks. This event will be held by videoconference in two 90 minute sessions, on 29 and 30 November, 14:00 to 15:30 CET (Central European Time i.e. ‘Basel time’). The agenda is attached.

The virtual meeting will explore the challenges of designing resolution regimes and operational approaches that are appropriate for different types of banking institution and the structure of local banking markets. The two sessions that make up this event will cover:

•  Proportionality and implementation challenges in designing resolution frameworks
•  Managing the failures of small banks, financial cooperatives and state-owned banks.

In each session, the panel discussion will be followed by a moderated Q&A session.
