2026 IADI AGM and Conference:
Pre-Registration Now Open
The 86th Executive Council meeting, Annual Conference and 25th Annual General Meeting will be held in person at the Titanic Chausseestrasse Hotel in Berlin, Germany, from 26 to 30 October 2026.
Regional, Technical and Council Committee meetings take place on 26 and 27 October, followed by the Conference and AGM on 28, 29 and 30 October.
Pre-registration for accommodation and visa purposes is now open. Full registration for the meetings themselves will follow at a later date.

- Conference fee: Early bird rate of EUR 290 applies to registrations completed by 6 August; thereafter, the fee rises to EUR 350.

Member Publications: CDIC, Chinese Taipei
The Central Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC), Chinese Taipei, has shared two new publications with the IADI community:
- CDIC 2025 Annual Report, covering 1 January to 31 December 2025, highlighting strengthened crisis response mechanisms, an amended differential premium structure (five tiers to seven), enhanced sustainability governance and information security (including ISO 27001 certification and zero trust architecture), the use of AI and robotic process automation, and CDIC’s hosting of the 2025 IADI Ad-hoc Executive Council Meeting and Core Principles International Conference alongside its 40th anniversary celebration.
- CDIC’s Three-Year Development Plan (2026–2028), outlining strategic priorities including financial safety net strengthening, crisis preparedness and resolution capability, digital transformation and AI adoption, sustainability, and deeper international engagement.
APRC Net: 15th Issue Now Available
The Asia-Pacific Regional Committee (APRC) has released the 15th issue of its APRC Net newsletter, featuring a welcome message from newly appointed APRC Chairperson Tien-Mu Thomas Huang, highlights from the 24th IADI APRC Annual Meeting and International Conference in Kuala Lumpur, experiential activities including the inaugural Hackathon and the returning Simulation Lab, a regional spotlight on APRC members’ developments, and details of the forthcoming Crisis Preparedness and Simulation Workshop hosted by CDIC, Chinese Taipei in Taipei this November.

Digitalisation and Deposit Insurance: IADI Preliminary Views and Forward Agenda
Digitalisation and Deposit Insurance Digitalisation is transforming both the financial sector and deposit insurers’ operations, bringing new efficiencies alongside risks that warrant careful attention.
IADI has identified four key impact drivers — new digital products at the perimeter of deposit insurance, new market entrants and changing depositor behaviour, technology in deposit insurance operations, and public awareness — and set five priority themes for its work ahead: monitoring regulatory developments, clarifying the scope of coverage, enhancing public awareness, strengthening members’ operational resilience and technological capability, and deepening international collaboration. Member Publications: DPS, Hong Kong
The Hong Kong Deposit Protection Board (HKDPB) is pleased to share its 2025-2026 Annual Report.
The report highlights the HKDPB’s key achievements during the year ended March 2026. Total amount of deposits covered by the Deposit Protection Scheme (DPS) reached HK$3.6 trillion. With the HKDPB’s wide-ranging publicity and community education efforts, public confidence in the DPS reached a record high of 86.7% while public awareness of the DPS remained strong at 80%. Moreover, as part of the HKDPB’s ongoing efforts to maintain payout readiness, a full-scale payout rehearsal was conducted during the year.
Looking ahead, riding on the 20th anniversary of the DPS in September 2026, the HKDPB will be launching a series of promotional initiatives to further strengthen the public’s understanding of the DPS and the vital work of the HKDPB. Read more
