“Ready for crisis: Effective tools for all eventualities”
The International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI), the Financial Stability Institute (FSI) of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) and the Financial Stability Board (FSB) are pleased to invite organisations to participate in the Resolution Conference 2026.
The conference will be held at the BIS headquarters in Basel, Switzerland, on 2–3 December 2026.
The conference will examine practical challenges and policy developments relating to bank resolution, including:
- The operational implementation of resolution regimes;
- Cooperation, coordination and information sharing between deposit insurers and resolution authorities;
- Planning and testing resolution transfer tools;
- Public backstop funding mechanisms for resolution; and
- Lessons from cross-sectoral perspectives, including insurance and financial market infrastructures.
The programme will also include a keynote address and a discussion on crisis preparedness.
The conference is jointly organised by IADI, FSI and the FSB.
Registration
Online registration is open. To support event preparations and participants’ travel arrangements, please complete the registration process by 6 November 2026.
Participants who are not speakers at the Resolution Conference should follow these instructions:
- On Step 2, select the registration type “Attendee”.
- Continue with the registration process as instructed.
If you have not previously registered for a BIS event, you will need to create a new account before proceeding.
Early registration is encouraged, as events may reach maximum capacity before the registration deadline.
