IADI’s Core Principles Training Programme is designed to provide its Members with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively implement and assess the IADI Core Principles. This comprehensive training journey provides a structured approach to developing expertise in deposit insurance systems, with each stage building on the last to ensure a deep and practical understanding.
Participants begin by building a solid foundation in the Core Principles through a workshop focused on their application in real-world scenarios. As they progress, ongoing development opportunities are provided through virtual sessions where participants continue to refine their skills.
The programme then progresses to a specialised workshop that enables participants to conduct in-depth compliance assessments and develop action plans to address any gaps identified. Finally, participants gain practical experience by applying their training in real-life situations, contributing to the overall improvement of deposit insurance systems.
IADI continually reviews and updates the training programme to ensure that it remains responsive to emerging trends and issues in deposit insurance, so that our Members are always equipped with the most up-to-date knowledge and best practices. This is a joint effort between the IADI Secretariat and the Implementation Council Committee.
