New Leadership Positions

We are pleased to announce a group of designated representatives who will be leading some of IADI’s Council and Technical Committees.

  • Hidenori Mitsui, Governor, Deposit Insurance Corporation of Japan, was appointed as Chairperson of the Analysis Council Committee.
  • Yvonne Fan, Executive Vice President, Central Deposit Insurance Corporation (Chinese Taipei), has been appointed as Vice-Chairperson of the Implementation Council Committee.
  • Gregor Frey, CEO, esisuisse (Switzerland), was appointed as Vice-Chairperson of the Internal Control Council Committee.
  • Loay Hawash, General Manager, Palestine Deposit Insurance Corporation, was appointed as Vice-Chairperson of the Planning Council Committee.
  • Jonathan Pallant, Head of External Affairs, Financial Services Compensation Scheme (United Kingdom), has been appointed as Chairperson of the Training Technical Committee.

These appointments demonstrate IADI’s commitment to fostering collaboration and leadership within the global deposit insurance community. We extend our gratitude to the appointees for their dedication and contributions to advancing IADI’s mission of promoting financial stability and protecting depositors worldwide.

New IADI Member

IADI is pleased to announce that its Executive Council has formally approved the Bank of Zambia as a new IADI Member.

We extend our warmest welcome to the Bank of Zambia as it joins the IADI community.

International Financial Institution Analysis School (FIAS)

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) intends to offer the following International Only training:

  • Course: International Financial Institution Analysis School (FIAS)
  • Duration: July 27 –  August 7, 2026
  • Location: FDIC Seidman Center 3501 N. Fairfax Drive – Arlington, Virginia 22226
  • Cost: $3,000 (USD)
  • Payment Method: ACH Payment (Wire Transfer) or Credit Card, no later than one week prior to first day of training

Lodging is unfortunately not available at the FDIC Student Residence Center for this training and must be arranged independently. A list of nearby accommodations can be provided as a reference if enrollment is confirmed.

Solicitation of Interest

If you are interested in this training, please complete and submit the International FIAS Solicitation of Interest Survey no later than Monday, May 18, 2026.

Each organization should respond with only one Solicitation survey. As space is limited, please submit information for no more than three (3) prospective students. If listing more than one student, please submit the student with the highest enrolment priority first in the survey, descending in order of priority.

The Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (IDIC) is please to present the fourth edition of our quarterly publication, IDIC Global Updates Volume 4 – 2025. During the end of 2025, Indonesia’s banking sector continued to demonstrate steady growth, supported by positive developments in key financial ratios across the industry.

IADI Deposit Insurance Systems Data
The 2025 IADI Annual Survey Data includes responses from 114 deposit insurers globally who participated in the most recent Annual Survey. With the assistance of the Data Technical Committee, the collected data underwent a quality review. This data is now available on eBIS for internal use.
