IADI Executive Council Approves the Revised Core Principles for Effective Deposit Insurance Systems
We invite you to read this article by the IADI President and EXCO Chair, Alejandro Lopez, on the EXCO’s approval of the revised Core Principles. The final document will be presented at the 2025 AGM in Lisbon, Portugal.
The FITD has published its Strategic Guidelines 2025-2027
FITD’s new strategic plan is focused on innovation and efficiency, built on specialised projects, keeping the Fund’s institutional mandate in mind and aiming to help it maintain a leading role in the safety net.
The new strategic cycle aims to:
- strengthen the stability of the financial sector;
- anticipate regulatory changes and raise awareness of its role within the community through projects and public awareness campaigns;
- innovate decision-making and operational processes;
- strengthen relationships with stakeholders, following a logic of inclusive and resilient governance.
The Strategic Guidelines are also available on FITD’s social media profiles.

COPAB (Uruguay) celebrates its 15th anniversary and shares its 2024 annual report with the IADI community.
BFG Annual Report
The Bank Guarantee Fund (Poland) is pleased to share its 2024 Annual Report.
In 2024, the Fund once again achieved a strong financial result, with a profit exceeding PLN 1.3 billion. This was made possible by the effective implementation of its investment strategy and prudent financial management. In the second half of 2024, the Fund initiated work on its first long-term operational strategy for 2025–2030 – a strategy centred around the depositor.
This Annual Report includes, for the first time, a dedicated section on ESG matters – a foundational step in incorporating sustainability into the BFG’s broader mission.
PIDM Annual Report 2024
Rafiz Azuan Abdullah, CEO of PIDM, is pleased to present PIDM’s Annual Report 2024, which provides an overview of PIDM’s performance in 2024 in relation to the strategic priorities that guide the delivery of its mandate.
As 2025 marks PIDM’s 20th anniversary, the organisation remains guided by its core purpose of protecting depositors as well as takaful and insurance policy owners, and contributing to financial system stability. Looking ahead, PIDM remains committed to strengthening its protection systems, enhancing its readiness for crises, and deepening collaboration with stakeholders.
