New IADI Technical Committee Chairs
The secretariat is pleased to announce the appointment of the following individuals as new Technical Committee (TC) Chairs:
- Ms Sabihah Mohamed (South African Reserve Bank), appointed as Chair of the Fintech TC.
- Mr Oktawiusz Szubart (Bank Guarantee Fund), appointed as Chair of the Resolution TC.
Both appointees bring extensive experience and expertise in their respective fields, and their contributions are expected to further enhance the success and development of the TCs work.
Hong Kong Deposit Protection Board 2024 – 2025 Annual Report
The Hong Kong Deposit Protection Board (HKDPB) is pleased to share its 2024 – 2025 Annual Report.
The report highlights the HKDPB’s key achievements during 2024–2025, including the smooth implementation of enhancements to the Deposit Protection Scheme in two phases—on 1 October 2024 and 1 January 2025. It also showcases the Board’s promotional efforts to raise public awareness of the new protection limit of HK$800,000 and strengthen public confidence in the system.
Palestine Deposit Insurance Corporation 2024 Annual Report
The Palestine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) is pleased to share its 2024 Annual Report.
The PDIC has published a report detailing its expanded mandate, including enhanced powers to support depositors, manage bank liquidations, and finance banking resolutions with the approval of the Palestinian Monetary Authority (PMA). The report also highlights its collaboration with the PMA on banking reforms and managing failing banks.
Savings Deposit Insurance Fund 2024 Annual Report
The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (SDIF, Türkiye) is pleased to share its 2024 Annual Report.
The Annual Report outlines the key developments of the SDIF in 2024, including the increase in the deposit insurance limit from TRY 400,000 to TRY 650,000, the continuation of deposit insurance activities aimed at protecting deposit holders’ rights and ensuring financial stability, and efforts to enhance public awareness and confidence in the deposit insurance system.
Interbank Deposit Protection Fund 2024 Sustainability Report
The Interbank Deposit Protection Fund (FITD, Italy) is pleased to share its 2024 Sustainability Report.
In the Report, the FITD offers its stakeholders a comprehensive and transparent account of its decisions, performance, and, more broadly, the sustainability path it is pursuing.
Central Deposit Insurance Corporation 2024 Sustainability Summary Report
The Central Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC, Chinese Taipei) is pleased to share its 2024 Sustainability Summary Report.
The CDIC, in support of the green finance policies being pursued by the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC), in 2024 continued to proactively pursue the policy of sustainable development, focusing on the four major aspects of “Accountable Governance,” “Sustainable Environment,” “Friendly Workplace,” and “Financial Inclusion.” The CDIC also intends to use this report to update readers on its progress toward achieving sustainability in 2024.
