IADI welcomes its new Members
IADI is pleased to announce that two organisations have joined as member organisations:
- The Deposit Guarantee Fund in Central Africa (FOGADAC)
- The Fondo de Garantía de Depósitos (FGD) – Costa Rica
IADI President and EXCO Chair Alejandro Lopez, Secretary General Eva Hüpkes, and the entire IADI community warmly welcome our colleagues from these organisations. We look forward to collaborating and advancing deposit insurance together.

IADI Launches Public Consultation on Core Principles Revisions
The International Association of Deposit Insurers has launched a public consultation on proposed revisions to the Core Principles for Effective Deposit Insurance Systems. These updates reflect significant developments and structural changes in the banking system since the last revision in 2014.
IADI Members and other stakeholders are invited to provide their feedback by 14 July 2025.
To support this process, Core Principles Review Sessions will take place this month:
- 23 June 2025: Latin America Regional Committee
- 24 June 2025: Europe Regional Committee
The consultation process also includes a Core Principles Consultation Process Global Stakeholders Webinar, scheduled for 30 June 2025, 13:00–14:30 CEST. Registration details will be shared shortly.

Asia-Pacific Regional Committee (APRC) APRC Net
The APRC is delighted to share the 13th edition of APRC Net with the IADI community.
This edition is packed with updates and highlights, including:
- A farewell message from Governor Hidenori Mitsui, reflecting on his tenure as APRC Chairperson.
- The desgination of Dr JaeHoon Yoo as the new APRC Chairperson.
- Insights into regional developments, including updates from member organisations such as CDIC (Chinese Taipei), KDIC (Korea), and PIDM (Malaysia).
- A spotlight on the 2025 KDIC Asia-Pacific Forum, themed “Building a Resilient Financial Future”.
- Regional activities, technical assistance initiatives, and research priorities shaping the future of deposit insurance systems in the Asia-Pacific region.

Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (IDIC) Global Updates
The Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (IDIC) has released the first edition of its Global Updates for 2025, showcasing key developments and activities from the first quarter.
The document features highlights of the Indonesian banking sector, updates on the main indicators of the deposit insurance system, international collaboration activities, and the latest publications from IADI and other global standard-setting bodies.

Central Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC) 2024 Annual Report
CDIC (Chinese Taipei) has released its 2024 Annual Report, providing a comprehensive overview of the organisation’s significant achievements during the period from 1 January to 31 December 2024.
The report highlights the CDIC’s key accomplishments in 2024, including:
- Established the “Intelligent Risk Monitoring and Control System” and instituted the use of AI to strengthen risk management.
- Prepared a reform programme for risk-based premium rates, making reference to studies conducted by experts and scholars.
- Continued to replenish the Deposit Insurance Payout Special Reserves to fortify the deposit insurance mechanism.
- Supported the government’s promotion of ESG policies, implemented sustainable development measures.
- Held the IADI APRC 22nd Annual Meeting and International Conference to promote international cooperation and exchanges.
