IADI Guidance Paper - "Ways to resolve a financial cooperative while keeping the cooperative structure"

The International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI) publishes a Guidance Paper titled “Ways to resolve a financial cooperative while keeping the cooperative structure”, developed by a Technical Committee chaired by Julien Reid, Senior Director at the Autorité des marchés financiers (Québec, Canada). The Technical Committee was established under the IADI Core Principles and Research Committee.

This Guidance Paper analyses ways to resolve a financial cooperative - especially a non-systemic one - while keeping its members, assets and liabilities in the cooperative system.
