Consultations
Public consultations provide a platform to gather valuable input in support of IADI’s mission to strengthen deposit insurance systems and promote financial stability. As an international standard-setting organisation, IADI ensures that its standards and policies undergo a transparent and inclusive public consultation process.
The public consultation process typically involves the following steps:
1. Initiation of Public Consultation
IADI publishes consultation materials on its website, highlighting specific areas or questions where input is sought.
2. Consultation Feedback
Public comments from external respondents are generally made public after the consultation period ends.
3. Information and Outreach
IADI conducts information and outreach sessions to give members and stakeholders opportunities for discussion and engagement.
4. Outcome and Final Documents
After the consultation concludes, IADI publishes a report summarising the feedback received and releases the final documents.
