New postgraduate degree, MSc Banking, Regulation and Financial Stability, commencing September 2018

On behalf of Dr Klaus Schaek, Professor of Banking and Finance, and member of IADI’s Advisory Panel, we would like to announce the commencement of a new postgraduate degree in the area of Banking, Regulation and Financial Stability. The programme, which will take place at the University of Bristol, United Kingdom, is now open for applications and is due to take its first cohort in September 2018, with Dr Schaek as the Programme Director.

This is an innovative MSc, designed to be far beyond a traditional banking and finance degree; and shall be the only one of its kind in the UK with a distinctive focus on banking regulation, supervision, compliance and risk management.  The programme, Dr Schaek states, is excellent preparation for careers in banking and financial services.  It will also appeal to recent graduates who are already working in financial services and wish to specialise in banking and financial regulation, as well as those who intend to continue to PhD research in this area.
