IADI was established on May 6, 2002 to enhance the effectiveness of deposit insurance systems by promoting guidance and international cooperation. We celebrate its existence each year on May 6th as we celebrate the existence of an icon that is Internationally recognized as the lead organization sought out for our collective expertise on deposit insurance systems worldwide.
