Bakhyt Mazhenova
General Director, Kazakhstan Deposit Insurance Fund
Ms. Bakhyt Mazhenova has managed the Kazakhstan Deposit Insurance Fund since 2002. In 1993-2002 she worked at the National Bank of Kazakhstan (Central Bank) as the Head of Currency Regulation and Control Department, Head of International Relations Division; at the Central Asia Bank for Cooperation and Development as the Executive Deputy Chair and Head of Treasury Department.
From 2003, when the KDIF joined the IADI, Ms. Bakhyt Mazhenova has been a Member of the IADI Executive Council, Research and Guidance Committee, Audit Committee, Asia and Eurasia Regional Committees, Vice Chair of the Asia Regional Committee and is also FPC Chair and Treasurer.
Majored in Economy and Industrial Management, State Academy of Management (Business Administration) with the equivalent of PhD (Econ).
